Alexandra Taliadoros

Alexandra joined forces with the Beattie Family in 2011 to realise their ethos and objectives through running the Jack and Ada Beattie Foundation.

Alexandra has extensive experience in leadership across the philanthropic sector, with a career spanning Uganda, Burma, Armenia, London and New York. Alexandra’s expertise within the development and grant-making industries lies within charitable establishment, delivery of private income generation, communications and business development.

A highly motivated, goal-orientated, strategic thinker, Alexandra’s employment history has seen her lead not-for-profit organisations in constructing new business initiatives, across international and domestic landscapes, as well as working alongside the UK Government of policy and advocacy issues.

“With family foundations the challenge is how to apply strategy and structure without damaging the personal fabric binding the organisation together. For us, subjective strategy and structure safeguard and strengthen the Beattie family’s vision and values. The virtue of philanthropy is that it’s driven by the heart, and when coupled with the mind can change the lives of many. Ultimately, this is what we all hope to achieve.”
